Teri Raven is a Marriage and Family Therapist and the founder of Four Seasons Counseling in Las Vegas. Her path to the therapy room has been shaped by a lifetime of leadership, caregiving, creativity, and a deep belief in the power of human connection.

Teri grew up in the Bay Area in the small town of Alamo, raised in a family that valued both care and entrepreneurship. With a physician father and a mother who owned her own business, she was exposed early to the worlds of service, responsibility, and resilience. Although her heart was always drawn toward helping and healing, she initially followed a professional path in business and leadership.

After earning her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Teri moved to Las Vegas in 2006 for a corporate technology leadership role when her company expanded its operations. She went on to earn her MBA from UNLV, worked with the Chamber of Commerce, and served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations. Throughout these years, she remained deeply connected to the arts, performing professionally as a violinist and serving in leadership roles with the Las Vegas Philharmonic.

Life shifted profoundly after graduate school, when Teri became both a new mother and a primary caregiver for her father, a retired physician living with Parkinson’s disease. That season of caring, alongside the vulnerability and intensity of early motherhood, clarified what had always been true for her: her deepest calling was to support people through life’s most tender, complex transitions.

Rather than returning to the corporate world, Teri chose to return to school, earning her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from UNLV, a decision she considers one of the most meaningful of her life. Today, she continues her advanced training through post-graduate work in Medical Family Therapy and is also pursuing a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy.

In addition to her clinical work, Teri remains actively involved in the arts and currently serves on the board of Opera Las Vegas. Music continues to be an important source of joy and grounding in her life, including the unique opportunity to sing with Andrea Bocelli during his annual Christmas performances in Las Vegas.

Teri is a proud mother to an incredible nine-year-old son. When she’s not working with clients, she enjoys painting, making music, and spending time in creative spaces that restore and inspire her.

Above all, Teri feels honored to walk alongside her clients during moments of growth, grief, change, and healing. She brings warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s story, believing that meaningful change happens through safety, connection, and compassion.
